Green Parliamentary Group at the ISWA 2015 World Congress

Informal Green Parliamentary Group (GPG) established cooperation with the GIZ IMPACT – Municipal Waste and Wastewater Management Project, which will in the following period include an introduction to circular economy seminar for MPs, several expert lectures, a visit to company active in this area, publication of specific blogs as well as brochure on the principles of circular economy.

Thanks to this cooperation, a delegation of MPs will have the opportunity to participate at the ISWA 2015 World Congress, which will gather worldwide actors active in waste management. The International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) will bring together over 1300 experts, professionals, academics and decision makers active in waste management.

ISWA 2015 will be held from 7-9 September in Antwerp, Belgium. The GPG delegation will include MPs Mirjana Đoković, Janko Veselinović, Nada Lazić, Nebojša Tatomir, as well as GIZ IMPACT project representatives and from the GPG Secretariat Valentina Đureta.
